Paddle, Power and Sail's
Free Fridays
This program is intended to provide free boat rides
to people who would not otherwise have an
opportunity to enjoy boating on Lake Winnebago. It
is also intended to give people the opportunity to
try different types of boating to see if they wish to
pursue the activity. Paddle, Power and Sail will
coordinate volunteer skippers and people who want
a canoe, rowboat, sail or power boat ride.
The program will begin after Memorial Day. During
our first summer of operation, we will host two Free
Fridays (Dates to be announced). Our goal is to
expand this program to other Fridays in the future.
This program is open to adults and children
accompanied by an adult. Every effort will be made
to accommodate people with disabilities. Priority
will be given to people who have not yet had a free
ride arranged through us.
Paddle, Power and Sail will provide insurance to
cover volunteer skippers, who will have passed a
security check. Riders must sign a waiver of liability
form. Children must have a waiver signed by a
parent or guardian. The form is provided below.
